Account Settings
Configure your company profile, operations, defaults, custom fields, tags, and templates.
The Settings area is where an admin shapes BranchSite to match the business: the company identity that prints on documents, the Operations that segment your service lines, the defaults that new jobs and visits inherit, the custom fields you bolt onto records, and the templates that do your repetitive work for you.
This section maps the whole area and covers the pages most owners touch in their first month:
- Settings overview — how the Settings area is organized and who sees what.
- Company information — identity, branding, contact details, document defaults, and your company culture page.
- Operations — service divisions, and the per-Operation branding and template overrides they carry.
- Job and schedule settings — job defaults, task automation, and calendar/scheduling defaults.
- Custom inputs — defining your own typed fields on jobs, clients, visits, contacts, and line items.
- Tags — the color-coded labels you filter clients by.
- Templates hub — one landing page for document, job, group, email, and text message templates.
Payment, tax, and accounting settings have their own sections: see Get paid online for the payment gateway, Sales tax for tax components and locations, and QuickBooks for accounting sync. Team management — inviting members and tuning roles — lives in Team & Permissions.
