Member Profiles
Configure each member's calendar color, color priority, route settings, operation access, and labor cost rates.
Beyond a role, each member carries a field-service profile: the color that identifies them on the Calendar, how they behave as a driver in the Route Planner, which Operations they can see, and — through a linked labor resource — what their time costs. All of it is edited from the Member configuration card on the Members page.
Open a member's configuration
- Open the Members page from the sidebar's Setup group.
- Scroll to the Member configuration card. Each row summarizes one person's calendar, routing, and Operations setup.
- Click Configure on a row to open that member's settings panel.
The panel shows only the sections you're allowed to edit. Routing and Operations require member-management permission; the calendar role is owner-only; members can always pick their own color.
Calendar
- Calendar role — Sales, Crew, or Sales & Crew. This controls where the member shows up as an assignee (only the account owner can change it).
- Chip colour — the color of the member's chips on the Calendar, My Day, and Route Planner. Members may set their own; pick distinct colors so a glance at the calendar tells you who is where.
- Color priority — when several members share one event, the chip takes the color of the member with the lowest priority number; members left blank are unranked. Use this to make crew leads' colors win on shared visits.
Calendar changes save immediately as you change them.
Routing
The routing section (also reachable as Edit route settings…) controls how the member behaves as a driver in the Route Planner:
- Include in Route Planner — when on, the member appears in Add Drivers and can receive route assignments.
- Default operation — pre-filters the Route Planner's visit pool when this driver is selected.
- Crew size — how many people ride with this driver. Scheduling divides expected visit length across the crew size, on both the Route Planner and Calendar.
- Route capacity — the total per-day quantity this driver can handle, enforced when the Route Planner's capacity honoring is on. See Route capacity.
Click Save in this section to apply routing changes.
Operations
Restrict which Operations the member can see. A member set to All Operations sees everything; otherwise pick the specific Operations their work belongs to. This narrows the jobs, visits, and records that appear across the app for that member.
Labor cost rates
A member's cost comes from a labor resource linked to them under Settings → Labor on the Resources tab. Each resource has an Assigned user (or is a non-employee resource with no user), plus one or more rates — a Wage / hr and an optional loaded rate formula that marks the wage up to a fully-loaded cost. Exactly one rate is the default.
These rates drive labor costing on jobs and timesheet-based labor reports. Whether crew leads can see rate columns is controlled by the Show rates to crew leads setting on the Labor page, and per-role by the Can view labor resource rates adjustment in Roles and permissions.
