Sales Reports

Track sales rep performance and compare revenue across operations and customer types.

The sales reports answer the questions a sales manager asks weekly: who is selling, what is still open, and where the revenue comes from. All three live in the Sales & Payments category of the Report Catalog, and all use the shared controls described in Using reports.

Sales Rep Report

A scoreboard with one row per rep. It answers: how much opportunity does each rep hold, how much have they won or lost, and how well do they convert?

Key columns include Total Sales Opportunity, Pending Sales, Sales Won, Sales Lost, Created Proposals, Open Proposals, Accepted Proposals, Rejected Proposals, Proposal Conversion %, and Created Jobs. Work with no rep assigned rolls into an Unassigned row so nothing goes uncounted.

Filter by Sales Reps and by two independent date windows — Proposal Created and Proposal Accepted — so you can ask "of the proposals created in Q2, how many were won?" separately from "what was accepted in Q2?".

Click a rep's name to drill through to the Jobs Report pre-filtered to that rep's jobs, carrying your date window along.

Sales by Operation

Revenue, payments, costs, and profit per Operation (service division), with period-over-period context: alongside Total Revenue Billed you get Last Year Revenue and Last Period Revenue, plus Total Payments, Total Costs, and Profit %.

Note: This report requires a Date Range — it always compares a window against the equivalent prior windows, so it cannot run over "all time." It opens on This Month by default.

Use it to see which divisions are growing, which are giving margin away, and how this season compares to last.

Sales by Customer Type

The same sales-and-profitability lens grouped by customer type — Residential vs. Commercial, for example. Columns cover client and job counts, Sales, COGS, Expense, Profit $, and Profit %; clients without a type appear as Untyped. Filter by date range (with a choice of date axis), Operation, Client, and Sales Reps.

Where are lost sales?

Rejected work shows up two ways: the Sales Rep Report's Sales Lost and Rejected Proposals columns summarize it per rep, and the Jobs Report can be filtered and dated by rejection to list the individual jobs with their Reject Reason. See Proposal statuses for how rejection reasons are captured.
