Operations Reports

List and analyze jobs, visits, and the items and line items behind them.

The operations reports are the workhorses: flat, filterable lists of your jobs, visits, and the items on them. They are where you build working lists — the accepted-but-unscheduled backlog, the materials needed for next month's work, every visit assigned to one crew — and they all share the controls in Using reports.

Jobs Report

One row per job, with the widest column set in the catalog: stage, client, operation, customer type, sales rep, tags, totals (Total Price, Total Cost, Est. Profit, Est. Margin %), and every lifecycle date (Created, Proposal Date, Activated, Completed, Approved, Rejected). Filter by Stages, Date Range with a choice of Date Filter axis, Operation, Client, Sales Reps, tags, client tags, custom inputs, and job type pills (Recurring, One-Off, On Hold, Requires Deposit, and more).

Typical uses: an accepted-work backlog (Stages = Approved, no completed date), rejected jobs with their Reject Reason, or everything a rep created this quarter.

Visits Report

One row per visit — the scheduled occurrences of your jobs — with status, scheduled and completed dates, assignees, logged hours, and per-visit financial columns like Revenue, Labor Cost, Profit %, and Efficiency %. It opens on This Month by scheduled date. Filters mirror the Jobs Report, plus Assignees, so "everything Crew A is doing this week" is two clicks.

The Jobs and Visits reports each carry a toggle to jump to the other, keeping your filters in mind — flip between the job-level and visit-level view of the same work.

On both reports, each row also has quick actions: an edit link to the job or visit, and a Message menu with Send Email and Send Text to contact that row's client without leaving the report.

Items Report

Aggregates line items by catalog Item across the jobs in scope: how much of each item you sold, at what Billable Qty, and what it produced in Total Price, Total Cost, Total Margin, and Margin %. Filter by Category (Material, Service, Labor, Equipment, Expense, Discount), Stages, Customer Type, Subcategory, and the usual date/operation/client/rep dimensions.

Two sibling reports fold the same data one level up: the Item Subcategories Report (revenue, cost, and margin per subcategory) and the Item Groups Report (per catalog item group). On the Items and Item Groups reports, click an item or group name to drill down to the Line Item Report showing the individual lines behind that row.

Line Item Report

The finest grain: one row per job line item per visit, with quantity, unit price and cost, totals, and margin. Filter by Item, Item Group, Line Type (Billable, Cost Only, Discount), category, and the shared dimensions. Use it when you need to trace exactly which lines produced a number on a rolled-up report.

Inventory Transactions Report

A chronological ledger of stock movements — every change with a running total per item and operation. It opens across all time so the running totals reconcile with what's on hand. See Inventory.
