Batch Reschedule

Move many visits and tasks at once — rain-out a day and push everything later in one move.

When weather or a breakdown wipes out a day, you don't want to drag thirty chips one by one. Batch reschedule shifts a whole slice of the schedule — filtered by date range, operation, assignee, or tag — later or earlier by a number of days.

The Batch reschedule button sits in the Calendar header (and in the Route Planner's toolbar). It appears only for members whose role includes the bulk-reschedule permission, on plans that include the feature.

Run a batch reschedule

  1. Click Batch reschedule.
  2. Scope what moves:
    • From and To — the date range whose visits and tasks are affected.
    • Include Visits and Include Tasks — pick at least one.
    • Operations, Assignees, and Tags — optional filters to narrow the batch to, say, one crew's work.
  3. Set Days to Adjust. Use a positive number to push work later, a negative number to pull it earlier.
  4. Decide whether shifted work may land on weekends with Include Saturday and Include Sunday. Normally the batch only places work on your account's work-week days; these toggles open up the weekend for this one batch without changing your account default.
  5. Click Reschedule.

Confirm the preview

Before anything moves, a Batch Reschedule Confirmation dialog summarizes the impact — for example, "12 visits and 3 tasks will be moved 2 days later" — and lets you expand the full list of affected items to double-check.

Warning: A batch reschedule cannot be undone. Review the affected-items list before you confirm. To reverse a mistake, run a second batch with the opposite Days to Adjust.

Click Yes to apply. A toast confirms how many visits and tasks moved. If something changed between your preview and the confirmation (for instance, a visit was completed in the meantime), those items are skipped and the toast tells you how many.

What gets moved

Only open, scheduled visits and tasks inside your filter move. Completed and cancelled work stays put, as do items in the Unscheduled and TBD drawers — they have no date to shift. Each move is recorded in the affected job's activity feed, so you can always see that a visit was bulk-rescheduled, by whom, and by how many days.
