My Day for Admins

View any member's day and tune the account settings that shape what crews see on My Day.

Admins see the same My Day page crews do, plus a way to look at anyone else's day — useful for dispatch checks ("does Sam's Tuesday look right?") and for troubleshooting a crew member who says a visit is missing.

View another member's day

Account owners get a View as dropdown in the My Day header. Pick a member to see their stops, items, and map for the selected date, exactly as they'd see them. Combine it with the ◀ ▶ date arrows to check any day. Members without that access always see their own day.

If a member's day looks empty when it shouldn't, check the same things the empty state suggests: the date, the selected user, and — most often — whether the member is actually assigned to the visit. Assignments are managed on the visit itself; see Crews and assignees.

Settings that shape My Day

A handful of account settings change what crews see and do on the page.

Schedule settings (the Schedule page under Settings):

  • Show estimated time on My Day — adds estimated labor hours to each stop: total expected man-hours, or the time divided across the clocked-in crew once they're on the clock.
  • Hide scheduled time on My Day — removes the scheduled start/end clock times from stop cards, for companies that don't want crews anchoring to exact times.

Jobs settings:

  • Complete-and-Approve — when on, the Complete button on a My Day stop opens the Mark Complete dialog in place, so crews finish visits without leaving the page. When off, crews are directed to the Calendar to mark work complete.

Labor settings (the Labor page under Settings, in Account labor settings):

  • Require description on Clock Out — crews must enter a note before clocking out; helps payroll review hours.
  • Capture GPS on each timesheet event — the browser asks crews for location at Clock In/Out and Start/Stop Work. Denying permission never blocks the action.
  • Auto-clock-out everyone at midnight (safety net) — anyone still clocked in late at night is clocked out automatically, with open work stopped first.
  • Auto clock-in & split open events at midnight (overnight crews) — for snow and other overnight operations: open time is split into a fresh entry for the new day instead of simply ending.
  • Show rates to crew leads — controls whether crew leads see wage and loaded-rate figures on the employees they pick.
  • Use timesheets for labor reports — makes labor reports compute actual hours from clock-in/out time rather than from quantities entered at visit completion.

Features: the Timesheets & Labor feature toggle (Plus and Premier plans) controls whether the time-tracking widgets — Clock In/Out, Start/Stop Work, and Submit Timesheet — appear at all. With it off, My Day remains a schedule page.

Permissions that matter

Role permissions decide what each member can do here. In practice:

  • Most crew members can record only their own time; members with timesheet management rights can clock in and start work for the whole crew.
  • Completing a visit from My Day requires the visit-complete permission; verifying billable quantities during completion is a separate, role-level allowance.
  • Reviewing submitted time requires the timesheet review permission, which also reveals the Manage Timesheets page in the sidebar.

See Roles and permissions for how to grant these.
