Guide for Crew Members
Everything a crew member needs: reading My Day, clocking in and out, tracking work time, and completing visits.
As a crew member, one page runs your whole day: My Day. It lists every visit and task assigned to you for the date, in order, with the notes, items, and directions you need — and it's where you clock in, track time, and mark work complete. It works great on a phone.
Read your day
Open My Day from the sidebar. Each stop card shows the client, the location, and quick actions. Use the arrows or the date picker at the top to look at other days.
- More info — expands the stop's details.
- View notes — shows the stop's notes. Crew notes are written for you (gate codes, hazards, where to park); office notes and client notes give extra context.
- Work order — opens the work order document for the visit.
- Get directions — under the More menu; opens navigation to the stop.
The Today's items + map sidebar lists the materials needed across today's stops — rolled up by category — and plots your stops on a map, with a link to Open directions in Google Maps. Load the truck against this list before you leave the yard.
If your day looks empty, check the date, then verify you're actually assigned — the empty state on My Day walks you through what to check.
Note: Depending on your company's setup, you may only see visits and tasks assigned to you.
Clock in and out
- At the start of the day, click Clock In. Pick the employees clocking in — crew leads can clock in the whole crew at once — and add an optional note.
- While you're on the clock, a chip shows Clocked in with a running duration.
- At the end of the day, click Clock Out. Any work timers still running are automatically stopped.
Track time on each stop
Clocking in covers your paid day; per-stop timers capture how long each job actually took, which feeds job costing.
- When you arrive, tap Start work on the stop and confirm who's working it.
- When you finish (or leave for the next stop), tap Stop work.
Complete the visit
When a stop's work is done, tap Complete. Depending on your company's setup and your permissions this either opens the completion dialog right on My Day — where you confirm the work and verify billables — or takes you to the visit's detail page to mark it complete there.
The action bar at the bottom (on mobile) keeps score — 2 of 5 done — and Next stop jumps you to the next open card.
Submit your timesheet
If your company reviews timesheets, finish the day with Submit Timesheet. It sends your pending time entries to the office for review. If an entry is later rejected, My Day flags it with a Rejected marker so you can sort it out with your admin.
A crew member's daily rhythm
- Open My Day, check the stops and the items list, and load up.
- Clock In with your crew.
- At each stop: Start work → do the job → Stop work → Complete.
- Clock Out, then Submit Timesheet.
